Jack got his first dose of Vincristine (Chemo Drug) and was started on two tablets of Prednisone - Weight 63lbs |
| January 12th - 2007: |
Jacks reaction to the first does of Chemo was poor at first. He spent the first night puking and peeing constantly. We brought him back to the vet today, who gave him an IV and meds for his stomach. |
| January 15th - 2007: |
Jack is doing great today, he is eating like a horse and getting back to his normal playful / energetic self. |
| January 16th - 2007: |
Took jack back to the Vet today as he was coughing a lot and puked once. They started him on an antibiotic for the coughing and he will go back on Friday for another check up. Hoping to see him start gaining some weight, he is still eating well, but has a bad case of the trots… LOL |
| January 18th - 2007: |
Jack is doing great, eating well, being playful, moving around well.. Really is getting back to normal. He's still skinny as can be, but he is eating like a pig again and keeping it down so I think he'll be back up to weight in no time. He goes in for another round of chemo tomorrow... |
| January 19th - 2007: |
Jack had another round of chemo, which he did throw up after, but just once this time. Seems to be helping him and he looks more like him self again. |
| January 25th - 2007: |
Jack is having a hard time breathing and looks bloated in his stomach. After a trip to the vet it looks like the cancer has spread and its to advanced to do any more. We don't want to see him suffer. |
| January 26th - 2007: |
Jack was put to sleep today after short great life. He will be missed and loved forever. |
